2011: This is Grothe's first full year with the Bismarck Governors. He will be part of the BGovs' starting pitching rotation.
 

Last summer: Played for the Bismarck Representatives Senior Babe Ruth baseball team.  The Reps won the North Dakota Senior Babe Ruth State Championship and participated in the Midwest Plains Regional Tournament in Wellington, KS.

 

Off The Field:

  • Just completed senior year at Bismarck High School

  • son of Troy and Teresa Grothe

Significant Athletic Achievements:

  • Letter winner - baseball (sophomore, and junior year)

  • All-State Team Selection - baseball (senior year)

  • Member of the 2011 WDA Conference Champion Bismarck Demon baseball team

College:

  • Plans to attend  Jamestown College starting fall 2011 semester and play baseball for the Jimmies
