2008: This is Wentz's third year with the Bismarck Governors. He will be part of the BGovs' pitching rotation and also start at first base. Zach may also see playing time at short stop.

Threw 21 touchdown passes and ran 95 times for 371 yards, leading the West Region in total offense by 944 yards during his senior year ..... All-WDA selection - hockey (sophomore year) ..... College: Plans to attend North Dakota State University starting fall 2008 and play baseball for the Bison.

 

Wentz appears in Sports Illustrated

 

Bismarck Governors alum and 2008 Century High School graduate Zach Wentz is featured in the October 6, 2008 issue of Sports Illustrated in the Faces in the Crowd section.

Wentz, now a freshman attending and playing baseball at North Dakota State University, was chosen for his play during the 2008 American Legion baseball season.
