Before BGovs: Stevens completed his senior season with the University of Mary Marauders baseball team in the spring of 2019. Stevens was a two way player (IF/RHP) for the Marauders playing first base and was a starting pitcher until sidelined by injury. This will be Stevens fifth year coaching baseball, as he has coached for the Southern Nevada Bulls (13u), Las Vegas Bulldogs (Centennial High School) American Legion team, Bismarck Capitals (13u), in addition to coaching the Bismarck Governors. Stevens graduated in the fall of 2019 with a double major, Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Coaching/Sports Science from "America's Leadership University" the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Stevens was recently hired as a Physical Education teacher and Head Cross Country Coach at the Solen/Cannonball School District. Stevens looks forward pursuing a Master of Science degree in Physical education in the near future.
