Before BGovs: Spent the last three years coaching in the Bismarck Babe Ruth program. Highlighted by a regional appearance in 2022. Prior to that, Medick spent one summer coaching with the Jordan American Legion baseball program in Jordan, MN. In the spring, Medick has spent the last two years as the Pitching Coach for the Bismarck High School Demon baseball team. 

Off the field: Medick will be entering hi third year of teaching at Bismarck High School, where he teaches Physical Education and AVID. Medick is an active sports fan, his favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls and Kentucky Wildcats. Medick enjoys spending time with his girlfriend Kloe and their dog Blue.
