The regular season for Class A baseball will consist of an 10 team ND State League. Results of League games will determine seeding for the post-season.
 
The post-season plan for 2011 will be a 10 team State Tournament scheduled for Kraft Field in Grand Forks, ND.

 

Regular Season Tie-Breaker Criteria

  1. First tie-breaker will be head to head competition between all teams involved in the tie.

  2. The second tie-breaker will be runs allowed between all teams involved in the tie.

  3. The third tie-breaker will be runs scored between all teams involved in the tie.

  4. The fourth tie-breaker will be runs allowed in all league games. 

  5. The fifth tie-breaker will be runs scored in all league games. 

  6. If a tie still exists at this point, cut cards or flip a coin.

Tie-Breakers

If Dickinson and Minot tie

  • Minot wins tie-breaker

  • Criteria #1 - Minot defeated Dickinson twice, 6-3 and 9-5

If West Fargo and Grand Forks tie

  • West Fargo wins tie-breaker

  • Criteria #1 - West Fargo defeated Grand Forks 4-0, Grand Forks defeated West Fargo 5-2

  • Criteria #2 - Runs allowed: West Fargo 5, Grand Forks 6

If West Fargo, Grand Forks, and Fargo tie

  • Order of finish: 1. Grand Forks, 2. West Fargo, 3. Fargo

  • Criteria #1 - WF def. GF 4-0; GF def. WF 5-2; Fargo def. WF 3-0; WF def. Fargo 21-11; GF def. Fargo 7-2; Fargo def. GF 5-4

  • Criteria #2 - GF allowed 17 runs, WF allowed 19 runs, Fargo allowed 28 runs
