The regular
season for Class AA baseball will consist of a nine team ND State League. Results of
league games will determine seeding
for the post-season.
The tentative post-season plan for 2021 will be an eight team
State Class 'AA' Tournament scheduled for BNC National Bank and Trust
Field in Mandan, ND,
July 27-31. The #8 vs. #9 play-in game will be July 24 at the site of the #8 seed.
*NOTE: Mandan automatically qualifies for state as the host team and will not be involved in the play-in game. Winner of the #8 Williston @ #7 Fargo Post 400 game will be #7 seed at state tournament. Mandan will be the #8 seed due to tie-breaker criteria*
The state champion and state runner-up will advance to an eight team Central Plains Regional Tournament scheduled for August 4-8 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Regular Season Tie-Breaker Criteria

First tie-breaker will be head to head competition between all teams involved in the tie.

The second tie-breaker will be runs allowed between all teams involved in the tie.

The third tie-breaker will be runs scored between all teams involved in the tie.

The fourth tie-breaker will be runs allowed in all league games.

The fifth tie-breaker will be runs scored in all league games.

If a tie still exists at this point, cut cards or flip a coin.

For all ties involving three or more teams, once the tie is broken and the highest-seeded team is determined, the remaining tied teams will revert back Tie-Break Criteria No. 1.
